LBL’s Contribution to Techo International Airport

LBL International designed and built the iconic soffit ceilings and column cladding of Techo International Airport — more than 27,000 panels and 612,000 custom pieces covering 200,000 m² at heights up to 42 meters. Delivered on time through technical innovation and close collaboration with Foster + Partners, the project sets a new benchmark for architectural excellence in ASEAN.

Engineering Trust Through Innovation

Our role at Techo International Airport was to design and build the soffit ceilings and column cladding — the signature elements of the terminal’s architecture.

The challenge was enormous: Foster + Partners’ design was still incomplete when we joined, ceilings rose more than 42 meters high, and over 600,000 pieces had to be assembled into 27,000 panels.

Through innovation, precision, and close collaboration with all stakeholders, we delivered on time and proved that LBL can tackle projects of global scale.
